Business Analyst (Fintech)

Reports to: Manager: Fintech

Main Purpose of Job

We are searching for an experienced Business Analyst who can interpret client requirements into technical actionable deliverables through solution design and scoping of work required. We need someone who can take charge of a customer requirement and deliver results that will, not only, make the organization more profitable but ensure our clients are satisfied with our proposed solutions. Our ideal candidate should have the ability to work under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously across multiple clients and can translate business data into digestible information that improves corporate processes and compile project related proposals for our corporate clients.

You will have a large role in working to create the Product Roadmap in conjunction with our Product Owner and teams. You will play a role in the leadership of the team, bringing in new ideas and experience. You will have freedom to focus on HOW you want to do the work, and work to enable to the team to understand the WHAT and the WHY behind it. We value collaboration, not heroism.

Main Responsibilities

  • Drafting Solution Design and Scope of Work Documents
  • Drafting FAT and UAT Documentation based off solution design
  • Maintaining and updating of projects on our roadmaps to customers
  • Host external and internal iterative requirements gathering and scoping sessions
  • Compiling and reviewing of Use Case diagrams, user stories, system interaction diagrams, working with solution architects on component overviews
  • Maintaining and contributing the knowledge-base on Confluence and teams’ stories / tasks
  • Creation and compiling proposals based of client requirements
  • Creation of Design Mock-ups based on Client Requirements and working using Solution Design sessions with the teams and clients to understand the deeper needs and opportunities
  • Host Internal and External Scoping Sessions and Kick-off Meetings, and building strong and trustworthy relationships with our customers
  • Attending and contributing to daily stand-up meetings or operational meetings
  • Assist Marketing team with creation / review of Sales and Marketing Material
  • Assist Training Team with creation / review of Training Material
  • Pre-Sales Assistances to Sales and Marketing Team
  • Competitor Analysis and Feedback, as well as Capability Assessments and support in tenders, RFPs etc.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in related field
  • ECBA or equivalent IIBA endorsed certification and certifiable Confluence experience
  • 5 - 7 years work experience as a Business Analyst
  • Experience with IT System Integrations
  • Technical experience advantageous
  • Telco experience advantageous
  • Practical application experience with Microsoft Office and Visio, Kanbanize, Jira, Miro, Excel, SQL (beneficial)
